Despite the storm - heavy wind and even rain. We could show the Moon and Mars in between the clouds. We made £128.50 For those who want to “borrow” us to do a stargazing night, we ask £100 in aid of Scopes4SEN 24 delegates turned up to conquer the stormy evening. And some brought their own scopes. In the back corner the scope we had for the raffle (with the entrance ticket).
Plenty of space and air traffic this morning in Tissington. Iridium 45, 55, 58 and 32 predicted about 10 mins apart low at the horizon under Cygnus through clouds. iPhone 25 min image shows 55 and 58 clearly. Saw but did not imaged 45, while 32 was predicted mag 0.7.
