Hello Patrick
Thank you so much for sending us the telescope! It arrived this morning and we have already been out tonight to use it! It has been fantastic fun spotting the stars and figuring out their names. We are really excited to see the moon when that is back out too. The children are so excited and we are now planning to visit some local areas where the skies will be darker so that we can learn more about the night sky. This is a fantastic gift of years of learning and adventure you have given our family as the children grow up, thank you so much to you and all the charity supporters. Best wishes Finlay family in County Durham! First Light Optics keeps donating telescopes to Scopes4SEN. This time we received a nice Sky-Watcher Skyhawk 1145P. We will find a nice home for this telescope.
"I wanted to drop you an email to let you know that the 3 telescopes have arrived safely today, and how brilliant they are! We'll get the hang of them soon enough, but we've built one of them this morning and they're really impressive.
I've attached some pictures I've taken, and we'll share about Scopes4SEN on our channels in the next few days too. As we start to use them in groups in the coming and months, we'll share more photos! " Emilly, Daisy Chain, Stockton on Tees Robert from Leeds donated and sent his Celestron 80mm F11.4 (910mm focal length) refractor on original Super Polaris equatorial mount to Scopes4SEN.
Thank you so much! We will find a nice home for the telescope. First Light Optics donated 3 telescopes to Scopes4SEN. 2 Sky-Watcher Explorer 130P (EQ-2), and 1 Sky-Watcher Explorer 130M (EQ-2).
THANK YOU so much! Scopes4SEN will find a nice home for the scopes! |
