Iridium 58, predicted mag -8.5, at kind of day time (Sun -6 only) and through clouds. Not bad for an iPhone pic.
Very bright ISS pass 18h44, nearly parallel, less than 2 mins behind triple bright flashing “object”. The brighter flash was similar, mag -3, the less brighter flash, mag -1 to -2 and the fainter flash mag 0 or +1. Just rough estimates. Approx similar speed, not quite parallel track. Looked like observed and images at various locations in UK (Twitter). From Marco Langbroek: It is Telkom 3 (2012-044A), a satellite launched in 2012 that ended up in a wrong orbit. Obviously, per your observations, it is now tumbling. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telkom-3 CET times for Tissington from Marco Langbroek Another ISS pass same night. Low on the horizon. No other flashes observed so low, disposed parts, ... Only flashing car lights this time, and a stalking plane. Another "candidate" for the tumbling flashes could have been the Tumbling Iridium Yaogan 6. Not quite the same track though. From CalSky.
At 6h32m it was the emersion of Saturn, Altitude 0.2° only, Moon phase 6.0%, 61.2 hours before New Moon. Could catch just after occultation. iPhone pic through Celestron Travel Scope. At 06h38m Iridium 97, predicted magn -4.8. Very cold, -4 degrees C, wobbly images - all iPhone pics
